We are a nonprofit corporation dedicated to shoreline and coastal town conservation, organizing cleanups, and offering volunteer opportunities to protect our coastal environments through community engagement.

Our Mission and Vision

Coastodians, Inc. focuses on maintaining the coastline and public spaces in coastal RI towns year-round through cleanups and vigilant upkeep, fostering community involvement through volunteer opportunities to ensure a cleaner, healthier environment for present and future generations, and to protect our marine and terrestrial ecosystems, but we can't do it without your support! Collection Bin is at 26 Paddy Hill Rd. in Peace Dale, RI. Please only put Monofilament line in the bin. Braided line cannot be recycled or be safely thrown in the trash without cutting it up first. There will be a separate bin for that to be processed correctly. Thank You!

Join us in protecting coastlines through cleanups, volunteer opportunities, and community events focused on conservation.

Clean, and Sober-Minded

A weekly cleanup dedicated to recovery from Mental Heath issues, including alcoholism & addiction. We will get together and walk and talk about life and help each other through the commonality of what we go through on a day-to-day basis, what we struggle with and what have overcome. All while we do a good-hearted community action cleanup on the beach.

EVERY FRIDAY - 6-7pm at Narragansett Beach, April-September

Meet at Narragansett Beach Resident Parking Lot beach Entrance (to the right of the pavilion looking from the street) at 6pm

Cleanup Schedule:

Get involved with our nonprofit by helping us on our weekly cleanups that promote environmental awareness and conservation efforts within southern RI's Coastlines and towns. Volunteers can show up to any and all of our events listed on the website, even if they mention a specific group, all can join in. No sign up, just show up! Bring a water bottle and closed toe shoes (no sandals) for safety and of course dress for the weather that day. We provide everything else. Thank you for your interest and support! September 27- Historic Peace Dale 10am-12pm

We will clean the historic village of Peace Dale. Meet at Peace Dale Elementary school parking lot at 10am.

**October 4th** - CLEANUP AT SOUTH KINGSTOWN TOWN BEACH 10am-12pm THEN FOLLOWING THE CLEANUP WE WILL CO-HOST A LIVE SHOW AT SONS OF LIBERTY WITH OUR COLLABORATION PARTNER, THE INDIE ROCK BAND, SEAGARDEN!!!!!!

We will clean South Kingstown town beach down to moonstone beach. Meet at S. Kingstown Town Beach parking lot in South Kingstown at 10am.

October 11- URI Student Campus Cleanup. 11am-1pm.

All URI Students, Alumni and Staff are encouraged to join in a campus cleanup starting at the emporium. Meet in the parking lot next to PVD Pizza at the Emporium for 11am.

October 18- Pilgrim Ave. ROW cleanup 10am-12pm.

We will clean the public access right of way and coastline at the end of pilgrim Ave in Narragansett. This was requested by a URI Student surfer. Meet at the end of Pilgrim Ave in Narragansett (Pt. Judith) for 10am.

October 25- RT.108 (Pt. Judith Rd.) in Narragansett.

We will clean our adopted "clean Rhodes" stretch of RT.108 in Narragansett. Meet at Stop & Shop Parking lot closest to the entrance of salt pond plaza at 10am

November 20- URI Student cleanup at Point Judith, Narragansett. 4-6pm

A Cleanup for URI Students who want to give back to their community of Narragansett, Co-hosted by URI's Greek Life. We will start at the Pt. Judith Lighthouse and work our way down the coast to Camp Cronin. Meet at the Pt. Judith Lighthouse Parking lot at 4pm.

Coastodian of Peace Dale:

A Special side project of our founder Jon, these frequent cleanups focus solely on the place he resides in, the Historic Village of Peace Dale. There is no set schedule for these cleanups as they are done as needed, but if you see him out there feel free to give a honk or shout out or even join in if you have the time!!!
